1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using SnapSlim ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.
2. Description of Service
SnapSlim is a file compression and format conversion application that processes files entirely on your device. The app allows you to reduce photo file sizes, resize images and convert between image formats (JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, GIF); compress videos (H.264 + AAC); compress PDF documents; and create or extract ZIP archives.
3. Free and Premium Tiers
SnapSlim offers both free and premium tiers:
- Free tier: 5 operations per day across photo, video, PDF and ZIP, maximum 3 photos per bulk operation, JPG and PNG output formats, contains advertisements.
- Premium tier: Unlimited photo, video, PDF and ZIP operations, unlimited bulk size, all output formats (including WebP and GIF), resize presets (WhatsApp, Instagram, Email, Passport), no advertisements.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
Premium access is available through the following subscription options:
- Monthly: $0.99/month
- 6 Months: $4.99/6 months ($0.83/month)
- Yearly: $8.99/year ($0.75/month)
- Lifetime: $19.99 one-time purchase
All payments are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's store settings.
Prices may vary by region and are subject to change. Any price changes will not affect active subscriptions until renewal.
5. Refunds
Refund requests are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play Store according to their respective refund policies. SnapSlim does not process refunds directly.
6. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Ensuring you have the right to compress and modify any files you process through the app
- Maintaining backups of your original files before compression
- Using the app in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
7. No Warranty on Compression Results
SnapSlim provides compression on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee specific compression ratios, output file sizes, or that compressed files will be suitable for any particular purpose. Results vary depending on the source file, selected quality, and output format — some already-optimized files cannot be reduced further.
We recommend keeping original copies of important files before compression.
8. Intellectual Property
SnapSlim and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by SnapSlim and are protected by international copyright and trademark laws. You retain full ownership of any files you process through the app.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SnapSlim shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of files, or corruption of files, arising from your use of the app.
10. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the app at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
