SnapSlim ("we", "our", "the app") is a photo compression application developed by SnapSlim. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how SnapSlim handles your data.
The short version: SnapSlim processes all photos entirely on your device. We do not collect, store, transmit, or have access to your photos or personal data.
2. Data We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect or access your photos or images
- We do not collect your name, email, or personal information
- We do not use analytics or tracking tools
- We do not use cookies
- We do not require account creation or login
- We do not transmit any data to our servers (we have none)
3. On-Device Processing
All photo compression, resizing, and format conversion happens locally on your device. Your photos never leave your phone. SnapSlim does not upload, transmit, or store your photos on any server.
4. Photo Library Access
SnapSlim requests access to your photo library solely to allow you to select photos for compression and to save compressed photos back to your gallery. This access is used only when you initiate these actions. We do not scan, index, or browse your photo library.
5. Third-Party Services
SnapSlim integrates the following third-party services:
- Google AdMob (free users only): Displays advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data for ad personalization. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- RevenueCat: Manages in-app purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat processes transaction data through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
Premium users are not shown any advertisements, and AdMob is not active for premium accounts.
6. In-App Purchases
Purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not collect or store any payment information. All billing is handled by Apple or Google.
7. Children's Privacy
SnapSlim does not knowingly collect any data from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). Since we do not collect any personal data at all, there is no age-specific data handling.
8. Data Security
Since all processing occurs on your device and we do not collect or transmit any data, there is no data stored on our servers that could be breached. Your photos and settings remain solely on your device.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
